2 Types of Hose End Garden Sprayers

There is a common question in my Garden department that I would like to share.

Many customers already have a Miracle Gro Hose end sprayer and need to apply a different chemical. They want to know if the Miracle Gro sprayer can be used.

The question that 'michael' asked was, "does the Miracle Gro feeder have a suction tube?"

Here is my answer to michael:

No. The Miracle -Gro hose end feeder does not have a suction tube to siphon the fertilizer.

The Miracle-Gro feeder uses water soluble powder that mixes with water to feed plants.

This feeder churns water into the canister that contains the Miracle-Gro formula to mix with the powder and turn it into liquid form. The liquid mix is then applied to your plants through the nozzle.

Hose end sprayers that are designed to use liquid concentrates will have a siphon tube to mix the product with water from the hose. These liquid concentrate sprayers can have adjustable spray rates if they are not associated with a particular product.

If you have a liquid concentrate to apply, The Home Depot offers hose end sprayers for applying those.

Until next time, I'll see you in the aisles!
