Feeding: once monthly Miracle Gro Indoor Plant Food

This is a great plant for the bathroom with a window, as it loves humidity and medium to bright indirect light. If not in the bathroom then put pebbles and water in its tray to achieve humidity. This plant grows up in trees in rainforests naturally. As it matures, leaves on the outside will turn brown as the newer leaves in the center form. This is normal, therefore just trim off the brown leaves at the base.

Greetings Ingar,

The Bird Nest Fern is one of my most favorite houseplants. Not only is the plant easy to care for; it is also enchanting! Looking down into the center “nest” of the plant, the closed fronds do appear as tiny eggs then as they unfurl they look like tiny chicks stretching their necks, you can even imagine their beaks.....I also just love the rich, deep, green color of the fresh fronds.

Birds Nest Ferns are a must have for anyone one who loves easy-care house plants!   Maureen
