Hey bbgolf.

I have had something similar happen with someone who wrote into the community here. Their ceiling fan remote dip switches and transmitter were set to the default codes. Meanwhile, the new neighbors moving in, installed new fans with remotes also set to the default codes. Since they were townhouses so close together, the remote would occasionally control the neighbors fan.

Are you in a condo, townhouse or just have a really close neighbor?

If the answer is yes then get with them and lets see if they are having the same problem with their lights turning on randomly. See if your remotes control each others fan. If they do then someone will need to change the dip switch codes on the remote and transmitter that is up in the canopy cover.
