What Kind Of Black Filler Or Bond can I use to Fill the Crack that Will be safe to use in Electric Fireplace, That will take the Heat & be safe,Non Flammable? Thanks! This is the second insert.First didn't work At All. Don't want the hassle of Shipping it Again! Thanks Again!
Might want to think about returning the product and finding something of better quality.
Refractory mortar. Comes in a tube like caulk.
Hi there SILVERADO14,
I'm Jen, from The Home Depot. Can you tell me what brand and model number that you purchased?
Febo, Model F2808D
Goin to call.Don't think they will replace. Gave me A very hard time. They Only replace parts Did Not want to ship New Insert. The company is Febo from California.
Hi again,
Where did you purchase this item?
I also tried to contact the manufacturer for you and they are located in CA (different time zone). Right now, they are closed.
Originally Big Lots. But They Couldn't help, Since have 30 Day To return Item. So I Sent Letter To Company & Got this Directly From Febo Yesterday.Trying Since April to get replaced. The Auto Won't Work On or off Have to Manually Turn it On or off. The Fake log Inside Also has A Crack Which is visible When fireplace is on. So Fustrated With The Problems. Thought About trying some kind of bond material To Fix logs, But It Still Doesn't work Properly! Thank you For Your Concern!
I Knew About California Time Chage, I 'm Going to try to call After 12 This Afternoon. Hoping It was Insured By Fed-X, not sure if that will make A difference?
