Hampton Bay ceiling fan light does not work

Hi, I have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan whose light worked fine for several years, but it doesn't work anymore. The fan works fine with the remote control. I have tested the bulb on another fan I have on another room and it works fine. So, I know the problem is with the fixture itself. The part where the light bulb hooks into has the following information: TCP # 12536Q  Model EC2T-36 HPF.  I have inserted a picture of the fan part where the light bulb plugs in. I hope someone can help me with advice on what part to replace. Thanks!

Hello Omar521, and welcome to the Community!

It sounds like it might be something with the electronics, I suggest you contact Hampton Bay at the number below.

If the lamp works in another fan, it's most likely a bad ballast.  I'm guessing it's that white cylinder at the center of fan.  Contact Hampton Bay for a replacement
