Hampton bay ceiling fan

I just moved a ceiling fan (082392460573) from one room to another. The ceiling fan is controlled from light switch and remote. If I turn the light off from the switch the light will not come back on when I turn switch back on until I use the remote. After turning switch back on and I hit the fan button on remote both light and fan turn on. If I turn switch off and back on the light and fan do not come on. I have the same fan in two other rooms and that issue does not exist. Any idea of what issue could b? Thanks in advance

It sounds like the ceiling fan was working properly in the first room; this issue began when installed in the new location.  I suggest contacting our Hampton Bay Team at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON to discuss what is happening and possible remedies. Be sure to mention the other ceiling fans in adjoining rooms so any concerns with frequency interactions can be addressed.

Best wishes on your project.
