My getaway/mancave is the Woodworking Shop. From time to time, I will post some pictures of my latest project.
Had a good time creating this 6 panel door from Hemlock Fir. If curious, respond to my note, and I can share with you how I built it.
And congrats on getting your avatar upgrade as well, you are a valued member of the community.
That looks really good highinspect.
What did you make your panels from ? 1x ?
I used 2 x12, 2x10, and 2x8.....planed down to 1-5/16. Then I used Panel door cutters and flipped the wood over and ran it through again. Coming out with a 1/2 inch groove for the panel to fit:smileyhappy:
Thanks HD116...appreciate the kind words. Love the drill, and looking forward to earning the Router:smileywink:
That’s not just a drill...that is a hammerdrill :smileyhappy: --- CONGRATS!
Did you glue the panels or you left them loose?
Craft like that isn't commonly hand-made any longer. Outstanding work highinspect!
The details show you have the hands of a Craftsman.
Congrats on the new level in the community!
Very nice woodwork. My father made doors, cabinets, tables and much of the furniture in our home. That was in the first half of last century. Brings back memories. Thank you!:manvery-happy:
Everything is glued in place. Very difficult to clean up before the glue dries.
Awesome craftsmanship on the doors. I really enjoy your work. I'm glad you're part of our community.
