my raised bed is about 5 years old and the frame is bowing out. the space between the support beam in the middle is a good 1in gap. how would you fix it or should i just build a new one?
i live in new England and the bed is covered in snow so there will not be any pictures
Are your raised beds made of pressure treated lumber or are you using cedar? If you were using cedar, I would probably say that its getting time to replace the boards, as they don't last nearly as long as pressure treated. Otherwise if the board is fine, I would drive a stake against the board, in the middle of the span to get rid of the gap. If the board goes 8 foot without a support, drive a wood stake up against it at 4 ft.
