Replacing a model YC-322516E-2 ballast with the recommended model ICN-2P32-N ballast

Replacing a model YC-322516E-2 ballast with the recommended model ICN-2P32-N ballast

I recently purchased a Philips model ICN-2P32-N ballast to replace the model YC-322516E-2 ballast that came with a 2 bulb fluorescent fixture which I also bought at the same Home Depot 3 years ago.  I was told that this was the correct replacement when switching to LED bulbs.

I’m having trouble figuring out what changes I need to make to the wiring since I can not locate any diagrams online that show the nine wire configuration of my original ballast.

Can you help with this?

I would suggest that unless your original ballast is no longer working there is probably little to be gained financially by switching to an LED bulb.  It will take thousands of hours of operation just to break even on the cost of the new ballast.

If the old ballast is bad, then just follow the wiring diagram on the new ballast, disconnecting the wires from the old ballast.
