Ryobi 20" 40v lawn mower

Just got this mower at Home Depot and the first time I used it, no problem.  It did a great job.  I went to use it again last week and I didn't get even one lap around my small backyard lawn before it cut out.  So I restarted it (which it did readily), but shortly after I would start pushing it, it would quit on me.  I adjusted the blade height (although my lawn wasn't very long to begin with), but that made no difference.  I checked the battery and it was fully charged.  I even put the mower on my patio and tried running it, but the same thing happened:  It fired up, but shortly after I began pushing it, it would die.  Any thoughts?!?!

If you read through some of the messages here, Ryobi battery mowers simply dying without apparent cause somewhat common.  Call Ryobi technical support or simply return the mower to the store of purchase.
