Hello Oobersweet.  Welcome to the Community!

Well, besides the obvious towel to soak up water, the only thing I can think of is that your vanity is not level.  Even so, eventually given enough water spilled on the counter it will eventually run off onto the floor.  Some counter tops, especially for the kitchen, have raised edges that help to prevent water run off.  Changing to this style of top would help as well.

I like the idea Chris put forward!

One of my tenants complained that her eggs always ended up in the front of the frying pan.

So I used a laser level to determine which direction the counter top leaned.

And she was exactly right.

I discovered that the front edge of her counter was 3/8-inch lower than the back.

It wasn't difficult to see, when using the right tool.

We resolved the problem by removing the quarter-round and shimming the front edge up by 3/8-inch.

Once verified that the counters were level, we replaced the quarter-round.

Now her perfectly level frying pan makes perfectly flat eggs every time.

You can do the same for your bathroom counters ... stop the water from running off, that is!
