WREATH CHANDELIER HOW-TO
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner
TIME: 10-15 minutes
TOOLS AND MATERIALS:
1 – 22-inch wreath (real or artificial)
1 – 28-inch wreath (real or artificial)
60 feet of wired ribbon (approximately)
Scissors
Tape Measure
Note: If you use other wreath sizes, you may need to adjust the measurements to the ribbon.
Cut three ribbons approximately five feet in length. Then, with the small wreath’s wire frame facing up, slip one end of a ribbon length through the frame’s rim. Knot firmly. Repeat with the two additional ribbons, knotting at evenly spaced intervals around the wreath. Then gather the ribbons together and knot at a point 15 inches above the center of the wreath.
Attach three ribbons approximately 6 1/2-feet in length to the larger wreath frame, knotting each one at evenly spaced intervals around the wreath. Gather the ribbons together and knot at a point 20 inches above the center of the wreath. Knot at the ends of the hanger ribbons.
STEP 2: ATTACH THE WREATHS
Place the larger wreath on top of the smaller wreath, aligning the hanger ribbons. The knot created by the hanger ribbons of the smaller wreath should be in the same plane as the larger wreath. Gather the hanger ribbons of both wreaths and knot them 20 inches above the center of the larger wreath. Trim the ends of the hanger ribbons above the top knot.
STEP 3: HANG THE CHANDELIER
Screw your hook into the ceiling and hang the wreaths from the top hanger-ribbon knot. Tie a four-foot ribbon length at the base of each hanger ribbon; fashion each into a classic bow or, for ease, use bow ornaments.
STEP 4: HANG THE CHANDELIER
Hi, is the do it herself workshop on for tomorrow, Thursday, Nov 15 in the Mahwah store and where will it be?
Thank you,
Stella
Hello Stella,
Welcome to the community.
I just called the store in Mahwah and they informed me that tomorrow night Nov.15, 2012 they do not have a do it herself workshop scheduled.
BUT....
In it's place they have a Holiday Decor Workshop scheduled at 6:30pm - 8pm. She was not positive on where they were going to be holding the class so she suggested to stop by the Special Services Desk and they would be able to direct you to the correct location.
Thanks again for joining the community.
Come back and share what you learned in the Holiday Decor Workshop. I'm always looking for new ideas.
