Hi megmcs,

While a corrugated metal shower surround may sound intriguing, sealing it and assuring it wont rust out is the real issue. Since it is corrugated its going to be very difficult to seal around the valve, I would cut out a section and mount the valve flat on the wall and then seal around that. Even doing that it will still be a challenge sealing it tight and making it look presentable. I might suggest a clear silicone caulk.

Secondly. corrugated steel will rust almost immediately in such an environment. Even corrugated aluminum will corrode and look very unattractive very quickly. I would strongly suggest using another material for your surround, as this product will be gone in no time, requiring full replacement.
