Can I use vinyl wallpaper in a shower an how do I get old off???

While vinyl is one of the only styles of wallpaper permissable in a shower area, not all vinyls are the same. You'll want to make sure that it's specifically mold-rated to prevent from molding and mildew build up. Even though your wallpaper will be above the water-line and not getting wet directly, steam and condensation can still wreak havoc on it and cause molding problems down the road. In a completely personal opinion, I never recommend wallpapering a bathroom, let alone near the shower stall, so I can't say I suggest doing so. If you must proceed with it however, be sure to check the rating as mentoned above and use additional glue as I doubt the self-adhesive will hold up to shower conditions for long.
