Allure, Altra. Flooring, pds per square inch support.

I just installed the Allure, Ultra in our bathroom;  It looks great.  I am wondering now if can support an Acrylic claw tub full of water and someone in it.  I did do some research, and I found where it could support up to 200pds per square inch.

Question,  Is that enough for this?  if not, what can be done?

Thanks, Rams

Hi Rams,

A claw foot tube with water and a person inside would probably weight somewhere between 500 and 700 pounds, so if the flooring supports 200 pounds per square inch, and each foot covers 4 square inches, then the weight will be no problem.

Each leg will carry between 125 to 175 pounds of weight.
