Allure Vinyl Plank Installation

I am planning to install Allure Vinyl Planks in my basement in Ontario. The basement floor gets really cold in the winters.

Is there any type of insulation I can place under this type of floor ?

Thanks,

Hello MRA and welcome to the Community,

Allure Vinyl planks must be installed on a flat ridged surface.  One way to insulate your floor under this flooring surface is to install DRIcore subfloor panels.

DRYcore can raise the temperature up to 3.2C and create a thermal break between the concrete floor and your vinyl surface.

The raised moisture barrier covers cold, damp concrete to protect, insulate and cushion your finished floors.

Dricore is smart - promotes good indoor air quality by allowing your concrete to breathe which in turn reduces the potential for mold and that basement smell.

Thanks for your inquiry.
