Sun exposure: sun to partial shade

Spacing: 16 to 20 inches

Bloom time: spring, summer and fall

Soil: Miracle Gro Garden Soil, Soil Conditioner, Black Kow Cow Manure

Amend the soil with proper amendments for your soil type.

Fertilizer: Slow release granular Vigoro Flower Food or Water soluble Miracle Gro LiquiFeed

Gerbera daisies make great cut flowers because their huge flowers grow singly on the top of a long sturdy stem. Although Gerbera daisy is grown as an annual, it is considered a perennial in zones 8 to 11. Gerbera daisy flowers can grow from 6 to 20 inches tall and its leaves can span 12 to 24 inches wide. 

Plant in well drained fertile soil. When planting put 2 inches of pine bark mini nuggets or pine mulch around the plants to hold in moisture to keep from always having to watering them. Water regularly for the first month, until established and then just when needed.
