Are Home Depot's flowers bee-safe currently?

Hi, are Home Depot's flowers currently bee-safe? That is, are they free of neonicotinoid pesticides? I read an article from 2016 indicating that neonicotinoids would be phased out over the next few years, but I have not seen any updates since then. I would love to know when/if I can start buying flowers from Home Depot again. Thanks!

Hello HilaryC.  Welcome to the Community!

At this time, less than 20% of our plants still contain neonics.  These are clearly labeled so you can avoid them if you wish.  The phase-out of neonics should be complete by year end.

is it on a separate tag inserted in the plant, or on the container?
i bought a butterfly bush from my local home depot a few months ago. it came with one tag and there is no mention of pesticide use on it. i called the store to ask them and they said i should call the grower to be sure but i can’t find the grower info online. the tag says Nature’s Nutrients.
