Can I drill a hole in my vanity top for a soap dispenser?

Hi, Community!

Here'a quesiton about cutting holes in a vanity countertop. It came to us on a fun blog article about our Stone Effects countertops.

Val asks:

"I just purchased a vanity with stone effect sink, can we drill a hole to install a soap dispenser?"

What's your advice to Val?

Hello Craig,

I would be glad to help out Val with her question.

I called Wood Crafters which is the manufacture of Stone Effects Vanity Tops.

They informed me that they do not offer an additional hole for a soap dispenser. I then asked if the customer could do it themselves and they said no that it would void the warranty. They also mentioned that it may break if they tried to drill a hole in it due to it being a cultured marble top.

So I think that a nice looking counter top or wall mount soap dispenser is in order.

Let me know if you have any other questions Val. I would love to help.

Thanks for helping out one of our customers Craig.
