Can I point the lights on a Tiffany lamp at the ceiling instead of the floor?

We have a Tiffany-style lamp from Home Depot. Its five lights now point at the floor. This puts glare in our faces. We want to turn the lights toward the ceiling instead, which is how most similar fixtures look on the HD Web site. I tried simply twisting the arms on each light, but that doesn't work. How do I turn the lights around? Don't have a model number and the instructions are long gone.

Hey kdan_NYC,

Thanks for your question and welcome to the community!

I've seen most lamps that we've ever sold have a UPC/SKU/Model number written on the bottom of it. It's usually a sticker alongside the brand name. Check that first, and let us know.

Without that information, I can't tell you how or if you can turn the arms upwards. The only other way to find out is if you upload an image of the lamps arms. To do this,  click on the image below to post a photo.
