Can I use a natural gas connect hose longer than 10 ft on my Grill?

Thank you for your question and welcome to our community.  Yes you can use the extension hose, but you would be better off using a hard line to the spot where you BBQ is, install your shutoff valve and then connect the hose to your natural gas BBQ.  This would be a safer method of connection.

The natural gas pipe has an inside diameter of .622 inches which is larger than the natural gas extension hose for your BBQ which has an inside diameter of less than 1/2 inch.  By using the natural gas pipe as a supply line out to your BBQ then adding your shutoff valve and then your extension hose, you should actually have more gas for your BBQ when you are cooking on the high setting.  Even though the natural gas line will have a large volume of gas as a supply, when you reduce the size of the line before it gets to the source, you will have less gas coming out of the burners on your BBQ.
