Converting a GFCI receptacle from load to strictly line wiring.

I have 5 receptacles that don’t work.  All five have a GFCI label onnthenface0late, but none have a reset or test button.

I can’t find a re eptacle that resets these 5 receptacles.

Can I simply replace the 5 receptacles with new GFCI receptacles (with reset buttons) ?  If so, will that work....and if so, what do I dimwits the wires that were formerly connected to the “LOAD” terminals (cap them?, connect them together?).

Thanks for the help.

Replacing the receptacles wouldn't do any good because you don't have any power going to them.  You'll have to figure out which receptacle controls them.  Depending on the age of the home, it could be anywhere - garage, basement, even outside.  There may be a GFCI breaker instead of receptacle, have you checked for one of those?
