Cutting Groove with Internal Angles?

I need to cut grooves (For what will be a tongue and groove joint) on the 3 internal surfaces of the U shaped wood in the center of the picture below. The piece I'm holding shows the groove that I'm going for. I made that groove using my table saw, but that won't work for the U shaped piece because of the internal angles. How can I do this?

Two ways.  Do you have a router (or want to buy one)?  Use a slot cutting bit.

Make the piece in three pieces.  Cut your slots on the table saw and glue it back together.  You can use some small splines to strengthen the joint.

I am not sure if it will be possible to safely attempt that kind of cut...

Try either a Dado routing bit (if you have a router).   Diablo 3/4 in. x 1/2 in. Carbide Top Bearing Dado Router Bitdadoi.jpg

Or consider not doing the tong and groove, but rather a peg or biscuit joiner kit.
