Do I have to remove varnish on a tabletop before applying Parks Super Glaze?

I made a folding table and finished the top with several coats of varnish.  I found Parks Super Glaze and now I want to apply it on my table.  Do I have to remove the varnish first, or can I pour the glaze over the varnish?

Welcome to our community Granny_Hobbiest!

Thank you for your question! You don't have to remove the varnish, but you should lightly sand the surface. After you have lightly sanded it, wipe it down with acetone. Doing these things will ensure that the glaze adheres properly. :)
