Do electrice ranges come with plugs installed?

I see on many web pages that electric range are often without an electrical plug intsalled when purchasing.  Is this true?

Welcome to our community and thank you for your question.  Due to the variety of electrical codes and cords needed for each install, the cord for your specific electric range model must be purchased separately. 

 

Please consult your “Installation Instructions”  before installing the cord for your electric range.

The cord is sold separately. There are several different kinds of outlets so it is important that you get the right one. Also, make sure the cord is long enough to plug in before sliding the range into place.
