My Ryobi one batteries are gone can I replace with Ryobi one lithium ion or do they not fit ?

Hi Gonzo724,

The 18-volt Lithium Ion Ryobi batteries are compatible with 18-volt Nickel Cadmium of previous Ryobi Power Tools.

Older Ryobi tools that use 18 volt Ni-Cad batteries will run on the 18 volt Lithium.

The Lithium Ion charger is required to charge the Lithium batteries, but that charger is compatible with Ni-Cad batteries and will charge both types.

The 24 and 40 volt lithium ion batteries are different from the 18 volt version. The larger voltage batteries are slide-on batteries and require a slide-on charger.
