Don't Replace Sticking Doors!!! Plane Them

Doors stick for many reasons; when buildings shift the frames skew, exposure to moisture makes the edges swell, and there is that freshly painted door that has two or three new layers of paint ... essentially adding thickness to the edge.

I made this two-minute video to show you a simple solution for sticking doors ... a solution that prevents you from replacing the door and in most cases doesn't even require that you remove the hinges.

Dremel makes outstanding accessories, but without a doubt the planer saves me more time on the job-site than almost any tool I own.

So, don't replace those sticking doors, plane them!
