This fast growing groundcover can grow to the top of a very tall tree or cover the ground. Ivy will get the job done but it is very invasive and can become overwhelming after about 5 years if not maintained properly. This plant has been put on many southern states invasive plant list. This plants tolerance of shade makes it a great option as an indoor plant and it will not take over the house like it will the yard.
