Faucet replacement

Is there atool designed to remove the threaded section of drain just below the popup? There are two holes visible on the inside but the opening is not much more than 1 1/4" in dia. It has been in 17 years.

Hi Harper,

Im Travis from The Home Depot in Atlanta.

The special tool section in the plumbing department at my store is as interesting as the puzzles available at The Cracker Barrel!

As for drains, here's the tool for you:DrainWrench.jpg

This and many other useful specialty tools are in your local Home Depot and on HomeDepot.com .

Thanks for asking and Welcome to the Community!!
