Front Labdscaping

Looking for ideas on what to plant in my front window flower bed. Had to tear out the hedge because some of it died and want a change - more color but something that requires very little maintainance.
Live in Orlando with front yard facing west. Picture of front yard included

Rio Dipladenias at the cottage

Greetings SGirl55,
I would like to add a very long lasting colorful plant to Ingars list of possibilities.... Dipladenia!
Dipladenia has become a top choice for a hot, sunny garden spot here in the north east.
Add a few pots of these drought resistant showy plants to your landscape for a pop of color.... I am sure will love them!

Enjoy your new landscape and new year!   Maureen
