Front door seal with a twist

I have a front door seal needing replaced, but the seal is unusual. The packing that gets pushed into the mounting groove is about 1/4" dia and made of some cotton-like fiber. This is encased in a standard nylon mesh fabric, and the shape of the exposed seal is 'typical' door gasket shape & design. My local Depot couldn't identify a replacement , and I can't identify the door manufacturer. The door is approx 20 yrs old. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

I have experienced this situation before and have found that one of two solutions will work.

The gasket below should fit into the slot and seal as the original gasket was designed to do.

Frost King E/O 1/2 in. x 17 ft. White Tubular Vinyl Gasket

One other solution is to just apply the self sticking 3/4 inch rubber gasket and sticking it directly to the frame.

Frost King E/O 3/4 in. x 7/16 in. High-Density Rubber Foam Weatherstrip
