Hello and welcome to the community!

Organizing your garage takes times and effort, but in the end, you will pat yourself on the back and gaze at the awesome job you did. I doesn't have cost a lot to get organized, the simplest way is to either use pre-made shelving, which can run between $50 to $100 per shelving unit, or you can build your own.

With a few tools like a hammer, drill, and a electric saw, you can make it yourself on the cheap! The Simpson Strong-Tie Workbench Hardware Kit will allow you to build either a workbench or a shelving unit. In addition to some tools, you also need the kit and some 2x4's, just the standard 2x4 boards you see at your nearby Home Depot, and their cheap.

The kit Includes: 8 RTC24 Connectors, Plans for workbench and shelving unit, Lumber cut list, 200 Strong Drive self-drilling screws. Two kits are necessary to build a four shelf unit. I have also included below two links to two different plans.
