Is there any way to update a ceramic tile backsplash?

Yes, there actually is many ways you can update a tile backsplash!

 

In terms of materials, you can do things like install tile over the existing ceramic tiles if you wish. To do this successfully and without too much of a hassle, you can use SimpleMat for adhering the tiles over the old. A link to this great product is below:

Additionally, you can use things like thin yet durable thermoplastic panels that look great. Shown and linked below, these are an easy way way to update your backsplash.

There are a few more options out there as well, but these are the first two items that came to mind to update your backsplash.
