Glidden Trim & Door - Shaken at store

I purchased the Glidden Trim & Door paint this weekend and the associated put it in the shaker before we left.  When I opened the can to use it last night I noticed the wording on top that said do not shake.

The paint was thick and cottage cheesy but otherwise seemed ok and I did paint some of my trim with it.

Will the shaking cause a problem with the drying or durability of the paint?

Chelle,

Shaking the Glidden oil paint does not affect how it dries etc., it merely has an effect on whether it "de-gels".

This might affect its non-drip consistency. The paint should be gently stirred as oil does tend to settle to the top of the can.

Hope this has helped
