Hampton Bay 165 474 Glendale 52" Ceiling Fan

I installed the ceiling fan in the room and the lights work but the fan does not work.  I have checked the wiring and everything is connected.  I would think that if everything was not wired correctly, the lights would not work.  Can anybody think of anything or do I need to take it back?

Hi i just read your post and Using twist-on wire connectors, join the two green wires to the bare copper wire coming from the cable.
Join the two white wires. Then connect the two black wires. Swing the fan up into position against the medallion and secure it with the two canopy screws. that should work.

Titus was on a Knoxville elevator with several other people. As the elevator moved up, he stared at the small fan revolving slowly in the elevator ceiling. "Its amazing," he said to the other people, "that such a small fan could lift all these people!"

I did all of that except I put the blue wire with the black wires.  Should I take the blue wire out?

Hi, Darby.

Thanks for reaching out & for the SKU number.

You might want to speak with the technical support line for this fan at 877-902-5588. Some of our tech support companies are not able to advise on wiring problems/how to wire products, but they may be able to assist you with this. They will need your UPC, which is: 792145352907. Your SKU number helped me locate that. :)

Thanks again!
