Hampton Bay 3 light track lighting kit (SKU 799-026)

We installed a Hampton Bay 3 light track lighting kit (SKU 799-026).  We only installed one fixture initially and it worked great.  After completing some other work in the room, we added a second fixture.  Now neither light works.  We have the 44" track with the add on cord to plug it into a wall outlet.  I have checked and there is power to the outlet.  I have also removed the switch and plugged the lights directly into the outlet and that did not solve the problem.  What happened?  What should we check to troubleshoot the problem?
