Hampton Bay AC-368 ceiling fan (SKU 119-835) Stopped Working

Hi,
Our Hampton Bay fan was having an issue where it would only spin in one direction. I started to look at it and was switching the switch back and forth, when the light went out and the fan stopped turning at all. The remote still has a light, indicating it still has batteries, but the fan and light are both dead. I checked the circuit breaker and it seemed fine. Any ideas or tips on this?

And would we have a warranty in case it is dead? We purchased it in 2008 but I was hoping this would last longer.

Thanks,
CK

Hi Chuckiek, welcome, sorry to hear you're having an issue with your fan.You will need the UPC code that is located on a sticker on top of the motor housing. You need the UPC code as there are several manufactures of Hampton Bay fans.

Once you have that information you can place a call to the Hampton Bay customer service team, who can help you figure out the problem and how o fix it.

Here is the phone number to the Hampton Bay customer service team.
