Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan Light Kit Damaged

RE: Hampton Bay Cameron II Plus Model 544-067 Ceiling fan with light kit.  Brushed Nickel (??) finish

One of the three light bases has shorted out.  Is there a replacement option for the socket base with wiring unit?  If so, where, and how do I go about acquiring the unit?

If not, how might I find a replacement for the complete light kit?

Thank you,
Al Wilson

What do you mean by "shorted out".  If one bulb doesn't want to light or burns out quickly, one thought is that there is a small, springy metal tab at the bottom of the lamp socket that makes contact with the bottom of the light bulb.  It's common that over time the tab becomes deformed and/or looses a bit of it's spring.  With the power OFF, use a small screw driver to gently pull the tab up a little.

If that doesn't solve your problem, give Hampton Bay a call to see what replacement parts are available:
