Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan Switches

My Hampton bay ceiling fan recently stopped working. Serial number 082392065928. When I took it apart, I noticed that the switches that control both the lights and the fan had come detached from the housing that holds the pull chains. In an attempt to fix it, I puchased new switches but made the mistake of not writing down what wires were connected to where. Now I am stuck with a fan that only goes on the highest speed and no lights. The capacitor has 1 black, 1 blue (300 v ac), one red (200 v ac) and 1 yellow ( 200 v ac). Can someone tell me where I need to reconnect the wires (black to L, blue to 3, etc.)?

Thank you,

Hey Jake,

Thanks for your question and welcome to the community.

Unfortunately, since you failed to take note of what the original sequence of wiring was, it's going to be a tall order to get the correct configuration.

You can contact Hampton Bay directly to get the right setup for your wiring.

Make sure to have the serial number, as well as further UPC and SKU information listed on the fan motor.
