Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan With Top & Bottom Lights

I have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan with normal incadescent lights below the blades and smaller odd looking bulb in a "crystal" type globe above the blades, between the blades and the ceiling.  The upper globe is almost a Christmas tree shape.  I don't know how to change the bulbs above the fan blades.  Sorry for not giving a better description, but that is the best I can do.  Can anyone help me out with this?

Hey rouxster.

Each fan is slightly different. I changed my up-lights on my Hampton Bay fan the other day and I had to remove 2, half circle plastic pieces from the top of the fan, which were each held on with 2 phillips head screws. If this does not do it for you then on the top of the motor, you will see some numbers, maybe a 6 digit SKU number or a 12 digit UPC number. Get these numbers back to us here and we can give you the exact way to get this done.

Hello rouxster< GreenGiant is correct and also if you could post a couple pictures of the fan that would help also.  Visualization always helps.
