Help!! Replace front steps.

We bought a house 3 years ago and a few months late the concrete/cement front steps started crumbling. It has gotten to the point where they are pretty much unusable and you can almost take them apart by hand. We want to sell out home but need to repair the stairs first. We want something that is inexpensive but will also give good curb appeal. We have a split level and the front is brick. The steps are very wide with a landing that is just as wide, maybe 5 feet across. Door is up pretty high since from ground levelĀ it's a split. What do we use that won't make the brick look weird, that is inexpensive, and that will fit in this huge space? Please help!!

While you can build steps yourself, there are also companies all around the country that offer precast concrete steps in a variety of sizes and styles, some even have offerings faced with brick. You might also stop in and talk to the guys at the Pro Desk at your local Home Depot. They may be able to help you source some steps in your area even though they're not sold in the store or online.

Ok, so what material is best to use? Again we will probably be selling in the near future. What is inexpensive wood, concrete, etc? Should we just chip whats breaking apart (most of it is) and refill it? I just am not sure what to do...
