Help replacing old square metal/glass shower light

Hello, new homeowner here, I need help! How do I open this shower light fixture to replace the bulb? I've tried sliding a flat head screwdriver under the metal frame to pop it out, but it's only come out of the tile ceiling a bit and does not pop out, I'm worried I'm going to break it.

It does not slide in any direction, and pushing on the glass does nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello NewHomeOwner12321.  Welcome to the Community!

By process of elimination I can tell you that you will have to gently pry this fixture away from the ceiling.  The glass appears held in by the outside trim, and no screws are visible anywhere.  With recessed lights there typically are brackets or springs that hold the trim tight to the ceiling.  There are a number of designs, so here are a few:

Rather than use a screwdriver, I would try a wider tool like a putty knife to gently pry away the fixture far enough to get at the springs or holding brackets.  Go slow and use all 4 sides rather than just pry out one side completely.
