Help with Hampton Bay fan light switch

Hi,

I'm trying to replace the light switch because the chain got pulled off. I've been trying to find the appropriate switch with no success.

I don't know the model number of the fan, even after removing the housing there's no place I can find the model number of the fan.

However I did grab some numbers from the switch itself.

The fan has 5 lights, one in the center and four all around. It's a switch with three black cables coming out. The switch is a 4 stage control: center on, 4 on and center off, all on, off

The numbers I pulled off the switch are:

3A-125VACL

E87438

3089L

Can someone help me find where I can get a replacement switch?

thanks

Ricardo

Hi, Ricardo.

I apologize for the issue with the chain/switch, but there shouldn't be any problem getting you a replacement switch.

Unfortunately, we can't ID a fan by the numbers located on the parts, we would need the 12 digit UPC number from the sticker on the top of the motor housing. I've attached a picture here so you can locate it easily.

Once you find that, you can speak with our Hampton Bay customer service team at 877-527-0313 & they can work on locating the part/price for you.

Thank you very much, Nicki
