How and what to use to patch a retaining wall hole?

My neighbor's sand is pouring in through my cement wall. It's 3 inches deep and 7 inches wide. What do I do? Can I use a concrete patcher? Do I need something stronger like an expoxy mix?

Hi edlee,

Retaining walls usually have a significant amount of soil behind them and need to be substantial to be effective, with that in mind, a "patch" job is usually not effective due to the nature of the walls function. The best solution is to remove the soil, repair or replace that section of the wall and then replace the soil.
