How can I turn on and off 4 table lamps at the same time ?

Hey fengel,

 

Thanks for your question and welcome to the community!

 

Depending on where the table lamps are will determine if they can be turned on/off at the same time via extension cords. If you can hide/tuck away the cords, you can easily hook all of them together with several extension cords that are safe enough for the lamps.

 

As long as you don't exceed the wattage each lamp calls for, a standard 16 gauge cord with multi outlets shown below will work. Space out accordingly to get them all connected.

 

Once they are all connected, you can use a plug-in tap switch that can turn all of them on/off right at the outlet. Click on the image below to see if this your local store has them in stock.

If your lamps are 3 wire, simply use a grounding adapter to make sure everything works.

 

The option above is the easiest and simplest way to safely make all 4 lamps be controlled at once. If this option isn't to your liking, let me know and I can further discuss other methods.
