How do I remove mold from plaster walls?

I need step by step instructions with materials to be used on removing mold from plaster walls

I would first try to kill the mold with a 50/50 mix of water and bleach, just lightly spray the affected areas. If mold still persist then the plaster needs to come out and  be disposed of.

Thanks for your question and welcome to the community!

 

An item that is safe to use for plaster walls is Concrobium. Unlike bleach, it won't harm or discolor anything it touches, and it also prevents mold/mildew from coming back....something that bleach can't do.

You can use a scrubbing pad or sponge alongside the Concrobium to effectively wash the mold off your walls. Use gloves and breathing protection, to play it safe.
