Hello bailey123!

It is hard to tell exactly what type repair you need from the limited detail in your question.

So, let's try the multi-option answer and allow you to choose the one that fits best.

1) Small hole or surface damage - In this scenario, pre-mixed stucco patch and a stucco-pattern trowel may be all that is required.

Break free any remaining loose debris from the surface or inside the hole and trowel the patch to fill.

As the patch dries, use the patterned edge of the trowel to recreate a pattern similar to the existing pattern on the building.

Prime and paint after the patch dries.

2) Larger hole - In this scenario, you'll need to establish "backing" to which the stucco can bond. Staple a piece of wire lath inside the hole as backing and apply mixable stucco patch over the lath.

Layers may be required, so don't quite fill the hole on the first pass.

Allow the fill to dry completely and then use a medium layer to surface-fill and recreate the pattern.

Prime and paint after the patch dries.

FINALLY:

Behr Masonry, Stucco, and Brick paint is self-priming, comes in either flat or satin sheens, and can be matched to your existing color by your local Paint Associate.
