How do you remove wallpaper without messing up the walls

The options discussed in this video should work well for you! I have known many people who have had great luck with the scoring tool and chemical, specifically.


Just one more piece of advice. :) Before you paint (if you are planning on painting, not putting up different wallpaper) you should use an oil- based primer. The reason for this is because the wallpaper glue is water soluble. There will be some glue left over no matter how much you scrape the walls. Using oil based primer will seal the glue and keep it from rewetting the glue. If you use a water based primer or put water based paint directly over it, it will rewet the glue causing the primer and the paint to bubble. No worries though, you can use a latex based paint on top of the oil- based primer without any issues! :)
