How many square feet can the spray insulation kit cover?

I'm looking to insulate over 5K square feet, how far will the kit that lists for $474.00 go to covering that square footage?

Hello JTadagio and thank you for joining The Community.  We are glad that you are here.

The FROTH-PAK™ 200 Foam Insulation Kit is a two-component, quick-cure polyurethane foam that fills cavities, cracks and expansion joints for insulation and air sealing.  The FROTH-PAK™ 200 has a theoretical yield of 200 bd ft (board feet) which does not readily translate to square feet.  Some building codes require that the insulation be sprayed then covered with drywall.  Please contact the Technical Team at Dow Building Solutions (1-866-583-BLUE or 1-866-583-2583) to discuss the quantities needed for your specific application.

Please also review the safe handling instructions and wear proper personal protection when using this insulation kit.

Best wishes on your project.

A board foot is 12" x 12" x 1".  The theoretical yield is 200 board feet.  So that would cover an area 10' x 20' at a depth of 1".

I don't know what you're looking to insulate but 5,000+ square feet might a job for the pros.
