How should I install envirotile over slightly dipped covered concrete patio. What filler?

I want to install the rubber envirotiles over my preexiting covered concrete patio; however, it has a slight 1/2 dip a little off center of the center of the patio.  Since the envirotiles are rubber and flexible, there is no  problem laying them down, but water still will sit on and under the tiles in this dip.  (About 6 tiles will be affected out of the 72 I will use.)  What type of filler can I put under these 6 tiles to bring them up to the same level as the rest of the slab?

Hello verizon and thank you for joining The Community.  We are glad that you are here.

The manufacturer recommends leveling the dip with 1/8” gravel in the “dipped” area.  You should use a tamper or firmly pack the gravel before installation so it will not shift under the Envirotiles.

Best wishes on your project.  We would love to see a photograph of your finished patio in our I Did This: Customers Show Off section!
